Hostel Gabronka

Hostel Gabronka is located in the heart of Bistrica ob Sotli. Today, the century-old building is a beautiful accommodation facility, renovated with a sense of tradition, where casual travellers can rest or those who want to stop for a longer period of time to enjoy the beauty and varied offers of the village and its interesting surroundings.

Rooms

There are 20 beds in Hostel Gabronka. There are three double rooms, one four-bed (family) room and a common room with ten beds.

The Doctor’s room

Room for two people. Double bed is size 180×200 cm, the entire room measures 13.6 m2.

The Kunšperk room

Room for two people. The bed measures 160×200 cm, and the entire room is 12.6 m2.

The Rock room

Room for two people. Two separate beds measures 90×200 cm, the entire room 15m2.

Price of a night’s stay: €21 – €28 / person / night + tourist and promotional tax (1.5 euros/person)

The Bistrica room

Four-bed/family room with a size of 11.9m2. A double bed measures 140×200, 2 beds on a bunk bed of standard dimensions 90×200 cm.

The Old school room
(common room)

Spacious room with 10 beds and a bathroom. The room measures 70 m2, and the beds are 80×200 cm.

20 beds in 5 rooms (three double, one four-bed (family) room and a shared room with ten beds).

Rental price of the entire hostel: €300-400 / night + TT (1.5 euros/person)

Guests share two bathrooms, additional toilets, kitchen, dining room/living room with laundry area, spacious terrace and garden with playground.

The dining room with the living room also serves as a social space, where you can find books, board games and equipment for holding meetings or small lectures. A wireless internet connection works in the facility.

There is a parking lot next to the hostel, which also offers a charging station for electric cars.

Since the hostel is located in the very center of Bistrica ob Sotli, guests have access to a shop, bus station, post office, library, sports fields and a medical center in the immediate vicinity. Guests have the possibility to rent 4 electric bicycles in the hostel, and there are of course many interesting routes in the area, which are suitable for cycling and discovering the interesting surroundings and inspiring nature.

For pampering and bathing, guests can go to Terme Olimia or Terme Tuhelj in Croatia, 15 km away, and Terme Čatež is 26 km away. The nearest pharmacy is 7 km away (Bizeljsko), and Zagreb airport is 66 km away.
